“Not official Cuddeback” – new event location
(April, 10-12, 2026 Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

The official Cuddeback has been cancelled due to a closure order to protect the Desert Tortoise. A replacement event will be held on private property near by. All are welcome.

Event Talk-In Repeater
W6ZN 145.280- MHz, PL 74.0 (Palomar)

Meet Raul and Toby. 200+ hams during the day. Around 50 booths/camps along a mile stretch of mission beach; 15 steps from the water.
I usually show up about 10am – 3pm.

Food:
Lot’s of great food. Bring your favorite side dish, beverage, or bring nothing. Booths are about 15″ from the water.

From I-5, you get off at Sea World Drive, to Fiesta island road. After a short drive, You’ll see a unique line of booths on the waters edge.

The booth with a “ZN” banner is us.

Park rules:
Alcohol and smoking are technically prohibited, but just be discreet and nobody cares. The rangers know our group to be cool and generally law abiding.

No overnight camping, but the rangers have allowed us in the past, with the understanding that gates will be locked.
