The “golden screwdriver” is a radio term (It seems to have originated from CB radio) meaning “someone who thinks he or she knows what they are doing inside of a radio, and in turn messing it all up.”
This is the golden screwdriver used on the 435 hilltop rack. It’s a BAHCO #3 that fits the rack screws. The late great Darren Rumas said “this is the one you need to buy.” I spray painted it gold after the 435 meme became common. It’s one of my favorite tools. I chant the “Ooooh Billy Billy Billy” Caddyshack movie line every time I use it.

I actually have a set of gold beryllium copper tools that I used when I worked on Magnetron systems for electronic countermeasure systems back in the ’80s. They are not cheap, but look cool. So now you can buy your own!

Gold in color…But Bronze & Copper are the Materials. AND….These are really cool. Amazon has them a bit cheaper but they will still set ya back a bit.
