Terry Neal AA6TN funeral and reception — Report & Pictures

Saturday was the worst of the storm which kept some people away. It was a nasty pouring rain most of the day. Rainy drive from San Diego was stuff I love. Light Traffic moving around 80 miles an hour, slipping, white-outs from cars in front on the I-5 and 73… talking on 435.

Still, there were about 60 people in the chapel and about 40 at the reception. Many were members the chapel Terry attended. It was a formal Catholic ceremony; the crucifix, candles, incense, holy water, white pall, invocations, call and response between the parish priest and congregation; heavy ritual stuff,

The family had several table of Terry’s mementos.

The radio people went from table to table asking to “look at your cards”… brilliant conversation starter.

The outside patio was closed due to the rain… and Marijuana Smoking Prohibited per sign.

Light rain on the way back to San Diego. I stopped at the I-5 rest stop to stretch, look at the sunset, and the rainbow behind.
