We hit the hill again to RX/TX duplex the lower VHF antenna and improve the 2m RX.

The shelter owner demanded we abandon the higher level RX antenna. We replaced the destroyed 440 antenna and missing 220 antenna with a tri-band vertical on the shelter billboard and added a triplexer to use same antenna for 440 and 220 RX.

Fixed the RX on the GE by cleaning off the “whiskers” that GE repeaters are notorious for. RX improved by about 20 dB

It appears the 220 had been sabotaged or inadvertently removed. The coax was cut inside the shelter, DC power pulled from radio, antenna gone. We fixed it all.
